Working Together

What Happens In A Session?

Will You Be Talking A Lot, Or Is It Mainly Hypnosis?
Its a blend,  but not heavy talk therapy.

We spend:
  • a few minutes exploring what’s happening
  • a few minutes calming your system
  • the rest in hypnosis or emotional re-regulation work

You get exactly what you need that day.

What Does Hypnotherapy Feel Like?
Most women describe it as:
  • calm
  • peaceful
  • grounding
  • soothing
  • like a “mental reset”
  • like meditation, but deeper and easier
You may feel lighter, more settled, and clearer afterwards.

Will I Be In Control All The Time?
Always.

Hypnosis is not mind control. It
s a relaxed, focused state where:

  • you hear everything
  • you’re fully aware
  • you can stop at any time
  • you cannot be made to say or do anything you don’t want to
You remain completely in control, emotionally, mentally, and physically.
It feels like a calm, heavy exhale… where everything finally quiets down.

How Many Session Will I Need?
Heres a simple guide:
  • The Midlife Reset: 5 sessions
  • Perimenopause / MenoMind™: 8 sessions
  • Calm & Clear: 3–5 sessions
  • ShapeShift™: 3–5 sessions
Most women feel noticeable improvement within the first 1–2 sessions, and deeper steadiness over the recommended programme.

If youre unsure, your complimentary consultation will give you a personalised plan.

What If I Don't Know What Programme I Need?
Thats what the complimentary consultation is for.

Ill help you:
  • understand what’s happening
  • map out what’s driving your symptoms
  • recommend the right number of sessions
  • answer any questions
  • walk away feeling clearer
No pressure.

 No awkward sales pitch.

 Just clarity.

The Work

What Are NLP Processes And How Do They Help?
NLP - Neuro Linguistic Programming is an evidence-informed approach that works with the patterns of thought, language and behaviour that shape how you experience the world.  In simple terms, it helps identify and shift the automatic responses and deeply ingrained habits that keep you stuck, whether that's people-pleasing, catastrophising, or the belief that you need to keep pushing through regardless of how you feel.

I draw on NLP techniques as one of several tools within my programmes, always tailored to what each woman needs.  Many clients find it creates fast, noticeable shifts in how they think and respond, without needing to spend hours talking about the past.

What’s the difference between hypnosis and NLP?
Both are evidence-informed approaches that create change at a deeper level than traditional talk therapy, they work in different ways.

Hypnosis uses a deeply relaxed, focused state to help your mind and body respond differently to stress, emotions and physical symptoms.  In this state, unhelpful patterns like anxiety responses, sleep disruption or emotional reactivity become much easier to shift.  Most women describe it as extremely calming, like a mental reset.

NLP works with patterns of thought, language and behaviour that shape your everyday experience, your automatic reactions, the internal stories you tell yourself, and the habits that keep you operating in ways that no longer serve you. It tends to feel more active and conversational, creating fast, noticeable shifts in perspective and response.

In practice I blend both approaches and other methodologies within my programmes, choosing whichever combination will work best for you and your specific situation.  Most women experience elements of both across their sessions without needing to understand the technical distinction, they simply notice that things start to change

What If I've Tried Other Therapy And It Didn't Work?
Thats incredibly common.

Many women come to hypnotherapy because:
  • talking alone wasn’t enough
  • their nervous system still felt activated
  • they intellectually understood things but emotionally felt stuck
  • they wanted relief, not analysis
Hypnotherapy works at a deeper, nervous-system level, which is why many women finally feel change.

Perimenopause & Menopause Support

Can hypnotherapy really help with perimenopause symptoms?
Absolutely!

Hypnotherapy is highly effective for supporting perimenopause symptoms including hot flashes, mood swings, sleep issues, brain fog, and anxiety. We work with both the physical and emotional aspects of hormonal transitions, helping your nervous system find balance and teaching your body new ways to respond to hormonal fluctuations.

I'm Not Sure I'm In Perimenopause - Can You Help?
Yes!

Whether you're experiencing unexplained mood changes, energy fluctuations, weight shifts, or just feeling "off," we can work together to restore balance. My approach addresses the whole person - mind, body, and spirit - regardless of where you are in your hormonal journey.

How Do You Approach Perimenopause Differently From Medical Treatments?
I work complementary to medical care, focusing on the emotional and psychological aspects of hormonal transitions. While doctors address the physical symptoms, I help you navigate the identity shifts, emotional changes, and life changes that often accompany menopause transitions. Many clients find this holistic approach creates deeper, more lasting relief.

What If My Doctor Says Symptoms Are Just Part Of Aging?
You don't have to accept suffering as inevitable. While hormonal changes are natural, the distress they cause doesn't have to be. My approach helps you work with your body's wisdom to find relief, balance, and renewed vitality during this sacred transition.

Weight & Body Relationship

How Is Your Approach To Weight Different From Dieting?
Instead of restriction and willpower, we focus on healing your relationship with food and your body. Using hypnotherapy and somatic techniques, we address the subconscious patterns, emotional triggers, and nervous system responses that drive eating behaviours. This creates sustainable change that feels natural, not forced.

What If I've Tried Everything And Nothing Has Worked?
Yes!

Emotional eating often stems from subconscious patterns and nervous system responses to stress. We gently rewire these automatic responses, help you reconnect with your body's natural hunger and fullness cues, and develop healthier ways to process emotions. The change feels organic, not restrictive.

Do You Provide Meal Plans Or Specific Diets?
No, I don't prescribe diets, meal plans or withdrawal of foods. Instead, I help you reconnect with your body's innate wisdom about what, when, and how much to eat. We focus on healing the relationship with food and trusting your body's natural intelligence. This approach is much more sustainable and honouring of your personal needs.
