Both are evidence-informed approaches that create change at a deeper level than traditional talk therapy, they work in different ways.
Hypnosis uses a deeply relaxed, focused state to help your mind and body respond differently to stress, emotions and physical symptoms. In this state, unhelpful patterns like anxiety responses, sleep disruption or emotional reactivity become much easier to shift. Most women describe it as extremely calming, like a mental reset.
NLP works with patterns of thought, language and behaviour that shape your everyday experience, your automatic reactions, the internal stories you tell yourself, and the habits that keep you operating in ways that no longer serve you. It tends to feel more active and conversational, creating fast, noticeable shifts in perspective and response.
In practice I blend both approaches and other methodologies within my programmes, choosing whichever combination will work best for you and your specific situation. Most women experience elements of both across their sessions without needing to understand the technical distinction, they simply notice that things start to change
